Due to COVID-19, the annual study and work abroad fair was held virtually and a little earlier than the usual season for people who were interested in studying abroad in the 2021 academic year. The resource person for the fair was Ms. Gifty Anane, the CEO of GiftySolves Educational Consult. Participants included people from Greater Accra Region, Ashanti Region and other regions of Ghana. She talked extensively about the school application process a student has to go through in order to gain admission. She also talked about the visa application process, scholarship packages and work permits.
Ms Anane addressed the COVID-19 pandemic and whether or not students and visitors had the opportunity to travel to other countries as there had been a surge in the pandemic. She explained to participants countries which were under lock down and those that were still accepting students and visitors but under strict protocols.
