Unfortunately, most prospective international students are given wrong information about when, how and what to do in order to secure an admission to schools in the United Kingdom and Canada. Most students are left stranded after beginning the application by not having the right information and the proper guidance. This is why every year, GiftySolves Educational Consult organizes seminars to educate participants on school application processes, as well as study permit procedures.
The annual Study Abroad Seminar hosted participants from different regions in Ghana at the British Counsel conference hall in Kumasi, Ghana. The purpose of the seminar was to educate participants on the processes of securing undergraduate and postgraduate (including PhD) admissions to universities and colleges in the United Kingdom and Canada.
Also, a detailed information was given to participants on when and how to apply for a study permit to these countries as well as the documents required to apply. Lawyer Bonsra, an immigration law expert also took participants through the appeal process of challenging a denied application. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and were given a list of courses that are available for them to pursue.
